You lead by example by thinking in terms of solutions. That’s how you raise the terminal's quality to a higher level. As an energetic terminal foreman you operate the terminal with another foreman: together you come up with well-considered solutions for both the company and its customers.

Your way of bringing innovation to our organization is an important part of the job. In a 24/7 operation, you ensure that there is always enough staff available to get the job done. This must of course be done within the available budget and working hours of your employees. You look into which processes can be improved and raise efficiency. Together with the branch manager you keep the costs manageable in achieving our goals. Samskip relies on you to:

  • follow-up and report in accordance with agreed KPIs.

  • a minimum of three years working at a terminal or warehouse. You have worked in an environment where forklift trucks are used.
  • at least three years of experience in truck driving. You will therefore need an HGV license.
  • experience in people management.
